We are delighted that you have chosen our team of dental professionals to care for your smile. Learn more about what to expect during your first visit with us.
The team at Tower Dental Clinic are always happy to accept new patients to our Calgary dental office. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable from the moment you enter our office until your treatment is complete.
For your first appointment, please arrive about 10 minutes early. Our reception has a comfortable seating area where you can relax and enjoy a selection of reading materials, digital entertainment, a children's play area, and specialty coffees while you wait.
Your first appointment will last approximately 90 minutes. This time will allow your dentist to discuss your oral health needs and the information you provided on your Medical and Dental History forms, as well as to thoroughly examine your teeth and gums.
Your examination will include a comprehensive inspection of your gums, teeth, bite, and jaw, as well as an oral cancer screening, and a full mouth series of photos and x-rays.
Based on the results of your examination and your overall oral health needs, your dentist will develop a personalized long-term dental treatment plan especially for you.
Throughout this appointment, as well as all subsequent appointments, your dentist and hygienist will take the time to answer any questions you may have about your dental health and treatment options.
We recommend completing our new patient form online before your first appointment if possible, for a quick and easy start to your time with us.* If you are unable to complete the form in advance, have no worries, a member of our staff will assist you prior to your examination.
Our team at Tower Dental Clinic wants you to feel relaxed and comfortable from the moment you arrive. That's why we strive to provide you with a host of amenities designed to make your visit as stress-free as possible. For a full list of amenities, click here.
